The NCH Hypnotherapy Extravaganza was held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, and attracted hypnotherapists from throughout the UK. Organised by the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) – the largest not-for-profit professional hypnotherapy organisation in the UK – the day featured internationally recognised speakers including Professor Sue Blackmore, Dr John Butler, and Dr David Kato.
As guest of honour and a Fellow of the NCH, Gil Boyne was invited to deliver an address to the members at the evening dinner, at which he praised the work of the NCH in promoting high standards of hypnotherapy practice in the UK.
As a teacher and trainer of more than 50 years, as well as the founder of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE), Gil has seen the workings of professional hypnotherapy organisations worldwide and he feels that NCH has become the leader in establishing self-regulation standards, a definitive code of ethics and oversight of training standards.
He offered congratulations to the officers and members and said he is proud to be associated with the NCH as a Fellow.
